so I came upon these tracks and thought (hmmm a young wild hawg or boar recently made this trail) and after a while at sunset I looked up in time to observe a fleeting glimpse of two large boars and their baby zipping across the wooded ridge some 60 yards away. meanwhile the park has been trying to trap and poison them in cages near the hiking trails.
